Assist and participate with current and future Business Intelligence projects
Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the functionality and structures of various cross-college management information systems (MIS), processes and departments (for example Registry and Admissions)
Develop timely and accurate reports using reporting tools such as SQL/SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Visual Studio, Power Automate and Power BI. Core College SQL database systems include but are not limited to: Tribal EBS (Education Business System), ProMonitor, Strata, Power BI, and Power Automate etc.
Implement, develop and maintain integration between the Learner Record System (EBS) and other College systems where required
Contribute to the ongoing development of the College’s dashboard system
Be proactive in the testing of releases of EBS, including occasional BETA release testing
General maintenance of EBS, including the management of staff records, logging calls, track and follow up with relevant MIS software providers
Be the main contact point for teaching staff training on EBS for electronic registers, OnTrack and Reports. This includes maintaining notes and videos and conducting training face to face or via Teams where necessary
Support a variety of staff on all EBS modules and encourage staff to access data using the appropriate MI system
Maintain, update, and monitor automated report schedules
Take an active role in the set up and smooth running of the College enrolment process and contribute ideas to its further development
Assist in the collection and input of learner qualifications relating to GCSE point scores (value added)
Develop and maintain an understanding of the technical aspect of the job and keep abreast of technical development and report strategies
Occasional work outside of regular hours to assist at enrolment, open events and representing the department at Staff Council meetings
General duties such as typing, photocopying and dealing with face to face, telephone and email queries from staff, learners and the public
Maintain an understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

PRIME OBJECTIVES OF THE POST:

Read and interpret specifications, diagrams and work instructions, and following these instructions
How to use and gain competency in a range of machinery to perform the task/operation required including static machinery, portable powered tools and hand tools
Prepare and operate Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) equipment
Adhere to quality standards and product accreditation processes for wood product manufacture
Maintain machinery and tooling and log faults for repair including greasing and clean down
Build tooling and set various wood working machinery including moulders, bandsaws, presses, double end tenoner and other specialist finishing machinery
Techniques for applying specified finishes to components and products
Install fixtures and fittings to wood products, for example magnetic and acoustic components on specific patented products
Maintain a good level of cleanliness in working areas

A Golf Greenkeeper is responsible for the maintenance, care and overall appearance of a golf course in line with employer’s requirements. It is their job to maintain a good quality playing surface and ensure the course offers a consistent challenge and an enjoyable experience for golfers.
There are four key turfgrass areas on a golf course – greens, tees, fairways and areas of rough, each of which requires a different type of maintenance. Using a range of equipment and machinery safely and competently will play a major part within an apprentices training programme.
Golf Greenkeepers will also be involved in hazard, environmental and ecological operations which may include bunker maintenance, planting turf, trees, shrubs and developing wildlife habitats. The skills required to become a competent greenkeeper will be acquired whilst working as an apprentice on the golf course.
By the end of the programme, you will know when, how and why the range of maintenance operations are carried out.
A Golf Greenkeeper will be able to:
Maintain good standards of health and safety for self and others
Prepare the golf course for play which will include removing early morning dew and debris from the greens, raking bunkers, moving tee markers, cutting new holes on greens

Working closely with our Finance Director, who has over 30 years of accounting experience, the successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience across a broad range of finance and accounting functions.
Key responsibilities will include daily cash reconciliations, investigating and reporting discrepancies, monitoring customer accounts, preparing monthly statements, and liaising with customers to ensure accounts remain up to date.
The apprentice will also support bookkeeping activities, invoice processing, cash flow monitoring, supplier payments, and remittance administration, working directly with suppliers. This role will provide a strong foundation in accounting while contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the finance department.
