As a Physics Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will spend the first few weeks of your apprenticeship within AWE’s Skills Academy before moving out into placements within the business. Years 1 and 2:
During your first year you will spend time at college completing a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, the foundation qualification of your apprenticeship.
Upon completion, you will return to Leonardo to start your rotational placements within some of the following departments:

During the Engineering Higher Apprenticeship you will develop knowledge, skills and behaviours across a range of different engineering disciplines/placements.
