A Professional Discussion. This will include a series of questions allowing you to to display the knowledge and experience you have obtained over your apprenticeship. You will build a Portfolio of reflections and product evidence that will be used for discussion points in the PD.
A Synoptic Exam. This will include elements you have learnt throughout your studies of the individual AAT Units and this will contribute towards your end grade.
You will be prepared for both of these elements by undertaking studies for the AAT (Level 3) Advanced Diploma in Accounting. This will underpin both elements of your “end point assessment”. It is anticipated that your apprenticeship duration will be for 15-18 months. Those with no prior accounting knowledge might be required to first complete their Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship.
You will receive support from both the employer, and the training provider, to complete and achieve your Apprenticeship and will be given time to study during the week on a day release basis. The role will be split between site work and work in our offices at Clapham. Your involvement in the first year will be with our Metallurgy and Steelwork Inspection departments, from there you will spend time in each of our other departments including the Construction Materials, Building Inspection and Investigation departments and Geology. In all cases full training will be given and the level of involvement in the different areas will grow as training and competence develops. ;In addition to building on general laboratory techniques, you will learn to perform specific tests along with sample preparation techniques, mechanical testing and measurement of properties. Additionally, there will be site based work where you will develop inspection techniques, gain experience in further testing types as well as the practicalities of site testing and taking site notes.

Escalate any problems with your mentor/Team Leader
Electrical. Lead by and accompanied with your mentor:
Successfully fault find on electrical control and power systems identifying & including intermittent faults on processes on site
Understand and modify SCADA systems as required (once training has been completed)
Identify reasons for a Motor overloading, Test/ change failed motors, select correct equivalent alternative if needed to get process up and running
Training:
The learner will be studying the Engineering Maintenance Technician - Dual discipline Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
Day release to West Suffolk College
Training Outcome:
The programme will involve gaining experience and training to develop your knowledge and skills to enable you to take up an Engineering position within the organisation
The Company will endeavour to provide you with such training to achieve this aim but cannot guarantee a permanent placement

To be part of the Munton Engineering C&I team and to be responsible for the maintenance and continued efficient & safe running of the Stowmarket site. To accept the undertaking, ownership, and accountability of an engineering apprenticeship to ensure sufficient learning and development is achieved. Assisting initially with the wages and payroll but quickly leading to covering all the wages and payroll function
General office duties such as filing, scanning, dealing with the post and taking phone calls and general enquiries
General ad hoc duties in the accounts department
Creating spreadsheets, generating reports, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks
Previous credit control experience would be preferred
Apprenticeship Requirements:

The duration of the apprenticeship is 12-15 months; to allow confirmation of successful examination results/re-sits as well as completion of the required End Point Assessment.
The two End Point Assessment methods are:

Assessment method 2 - interview: Structured interview (supported by a portfolio of evidence summary)
Both assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent End Point Assessment Organisation
