The Role
Working closely with the UK management team, you will play a key role in developing, implementing and maintaining the company’s HSE management systems and standards across the site and satellite locations.Key responsibilities include:
Promoting and embedding a strong, positive H&S culture at all levels
Ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements and HSE management systems
Conducting accident and incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are closed out
Preparing and reviewing risk assessments, SOPs and CoSHH assessments
Managing contractor control processes
Delivering new starter inductions and supporting ongoing HSE training programmes
Carrying out internal audits and supporting external ISO audits
Ensuring sites are “audit ready” at all times
Supporting Environmental Management Systems and maintaining ISO 14001 accreditation
Collating HSE KPIs and performance data
Chairing and attending HSE meetings as required
You’ll also deputise for the Group HSE Director when required and support wider business HSE initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Level 6 qualification in Health & Safety (or working towards)
Full UK driving licence (travel to local sites required)
Proven experience managing ISO-accredited HSE management systems
Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation
Experience conducting audits, investigations and developing HSE documentation
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging both shop-floor teams and senior management
Proactive, solutions-focused and capable of driving change
Manufacturing or FMCG experience desirable (but not essential)

The Offshore Senior Data Processor will perform the role by providing supervision, guidance and support of all data processing activities and take ownership of projects.
The Offshore Data Processor is responsible for resolving complex challenges in situations where established precedents may not exist. This includes coordinating the interpretation and reporting of post‑processed office and field‑acquired geospatial data, performing advanced computations, and preparing comprehensive data analysis reports. The role also involves identifying and recommending improvements to research methodologies and quality management systems, as well as providing technical expertise during tender preparation.
In addition, the Offshore Data Processor supports the development, implementation, and documentation of project procedures, and provides informed recommendations, including the identification of any required supplementary investigations. The position contributes to data acquisition planning and execution activities and is responsible for handling tasks escalated by junior team members, offering guidance and support as needed.

Your role and responsibilities:
Processing of survey data such as navigation and multibeam echo sounder acquired from Vessel and ROV survey platforms utilising the EIVA processing suite.
Successfully complete campaigns to a standard where the MAI Client Deliverables team can finalise.
To provide offshore/onshore training when required to junior personnel.
Identify any software and workflow issues and bring to the attention of the MAI client deliverables team.
Seek out and bring to the attention any training requirements to the Processing Supervisor
Assistance may be required to review project-specific workflows.
What you’ll need to thrive in this role:
BSC, MSC or equivalent in a relevant survey related discipline;
Previous experience in a Data Processor position, ideally of marine energy industry
An excellent communicator (verbally and written) and able to form good working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels;
Ability to prioritise workload to meet project operational deadlines;
Good attention to detail, quality and safety;
Disciplined, self-motivated and flexible team player;
The role requires candidates to work offshore and within our state of the art remote operations centre;
Knowledge of EIVA processing software

Hours: Mornings 7am – 3pm and/or Evenings 3pm – 10pm And NIGHTS (wake and sleep) 10pm – 7am Long Days 7am-10pm

Key areas of support:
Our Customer has a very good sense of humour so wants someone who she can have a laugh with as she loves to build rapport with new people in her team. She is a very social person who loves to go to farms, out for walks, clubbing and to friendship circle. She also loves to go on walks and out in her car, it is essential you support her to access a variety activities. Whilst doing so her safety is at the forefront of everything, this can mean physical intervention may be used to keep her safe, being able to work collaboratively in a team is fundamental as her behaviours can often be unpredictable.
She also suffers with Epilepsy, her seizures may not be regular but do require rescue medication and can lead to then supporting her in hospital. Our customer requires someone who is engaged and will use and understand her signs to communicate, many will be unique to her. This a key part of building a rapport with her to understand when things may trigger her causing behaviours that challenge. Our customer is very independent in doing her own personal care but will still need 2 people to support her whilst she does so, she loves being pampered and all things girly and bling, on occasions she may need prompting or direct support. When it comes to meals the support team will do the cooking for safety purposes but our customer enjoys to help in the preparation of meals, it is also important we upkeep her living environment.
Whilst this a an established team, our customers needs will be changing as her support is ongoing, therefore we need people who can easily adapt to anything that may arise. Due to the specialism of this role the successful candidate must be prepared to work within other areas of the business in and around Swindon should the need arise.
