The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across the production site.

You will work alongside Construction Inspectors and Contract Administrators to ensure high-quality project delivery, carrying out site inspections and leading on smaller schemes such as fire door installations and repairs
You’ll monitor compliance with building regulations, quality standards, and health & safety requirements, challenge contractors where needed, and support value-for-money outcomes
The role involves regular site reporting, attending project meetings, and assisting with surveys including snagging and defect inspections, with work at height using access equipment as required

Day to day you'll be:
Welcoming customers into the showroom and helping them find what they need
Answering phone and email enquiries
Helping customers with samples, colour cards and product information
Booking in measures and fittings, and keeping customers updated
Processing paperwork, quotes and orders accurately
Keeping the showroom tidy, well-stocked and presentable
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day admin
No flooring experience needed - we'll teach you the product side.
