The apprentice will be employed by the South Warwickshire Foundation Trust to undertake a 15/18-month apprenticeship programme depending on the level of qualification enrolled onto. Training:You will undertake the “Accounts / Finance Assistant” Apprenticeship (an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Accounting), with full support from Accountancy Learning as part of their Flexible Apprenticeship Programme.
Assessment will be by an “End Point Assessment”, which will include the following two elements:
A Structured Interview. This will consist of 10 questions asked by an AAT Independent Assessor. It will last 60 minutes and will be performed remotely via the AAT online video portal. The questions will allow you to display the knowledge and experience you have obtained over your apprenticeship. You will build a portfolio of reflections and product evidence that will be used to support your answers to these 10 questions.
An In-tray Test. This will be undertaken under exam conditions and will last 105 minutes. It will be based on what you have studied in your AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
Successful completion of the AAT (Level 2) Foundation Certificate in Accounting is a mandatory element of the Accounts / Finance Assistant Apprenticeship. Your Apprenticeship will therefore include formal studies towards this qualification. It is anticipated that your apprenticeship duration will be for 15 months, although earlier completion is possible, provided the duration exceeds one year and a week.
You will receive support from both the employer and the training provider, to complete and achieve your Apprenticeship and will be given time to study during the week on a day release basis. As you are working towards a professional qualification, it is also expected that you will continue your studies outside of normal office hours.

Carpentry & Joinery Apprentice - learning new skills required to manufacture bespoke joinery items such as certificated fire doorsets, timber windows, and cupboards. Assisting the Joinery Foreman by combining practical skills with formal training to develop professional carpentry and joinery skills.
Daily duties to include:
Assisting qualified joiners with construction and installation projects.
Measuring, cutting, shaping, modifying and assembling timber products.
Using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.
Following health and safety regulations at all times.
Attending college or training sessions as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Recording progress and completing apprenticeship coursework.
The successful candidate will receive structured workplace training under the guidance of our Joinery Foreman. Training will be provided through a combination of practical tasks and ‘in job’ experience.
Learning how to measure, mark out, shape, and assemble a range of timber products.
Training in the correct and safe use of industrial machinery and hand tools.
Gaining experience in health & safety legislation, manual handling and safe working practices.
Building knowledge of joinery materials, quality standards and customer service requirements.
Completing workplace assessments set out by our Joinery Foreman, and maintaining evidence of skills gained as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Training:
You will be pursuing a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard in Carpentry and Joinery, through Weston College.
As part of this programme, you will attend Weston College once a week, for workshops.
An assessor will conduct on-site observations to evaluate your progress, as well as supporting you in college throughout your apprenticeship.
At the conclusion of your programme, your qualification will be assessed through an Apprenticeship Assessment.

Your day to day roles will include:
Servicing.
Preparing vehicles for MOT.
Delivering vehicles to off-site providers.
Providing roadside support for breakdowns where safe to do so.

Help with moving vehicles on/off the ramp for cleaning.
Any other duties as required.
Some weekend work (Saturdays) may be required during busy periods.
Training:The apprenticeship will be split between 80% of your time working within the workshop and 20% learning off-the-job.
There may be a need ot travel to college for lessons on a block week basis, which may include staying over depending on distance.
