As a Fitter Apprentice, you will gain experience across a variety of Operation disciplines in which a personal development plan will be created for your learning and development needs associated to your role.
This includes bespoke technical training within Operations and shop floor placements around the business, providing practical exposure to the development of mechanical and electrical systems within the aerospace industry, with particular focus on Air to Air Refuelling and Actuation.

During your training, you will be expected to develop an understanding of the practical issues involved in delivering a high quality service to clients.
Both practical and theoretical training will be undertaken, with an aim to become a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).Training:You will undertake the “Assistant Accountant” Apprenticeship (an Advanced Apprenticeship in Accounting), with full support from Accountancy Learning as part of their Flexible Apprenticeship Programme.
Assessment will be by an “End Point Assessment” and will be graded “Pass” or “Distinction”.
This will include two elements:
A Professional Discussion:
This will include a series of questions allowing you to display the knowledge and experience you have obtained over your apprenticeship. You will build a Portfolio of reflections and product evidence that will be used for discussion points in the PD.
A Synoptic Exam:
This will include elements you have learnt throughout your studies of the individual AAT Units and this will contribute towards your end grade.
You will be prepared for both of these elements by undertaking studies for the AAT (Level 3) Advanced Diploma in Accounting. These will underpin both elements of your “end point assessment”. As such, it is anticipated that your apprenticeship duration will be for 15-18 months, although earlier completion is possible, provided the duration exceeds one year and a week. Those with no prior accounting knowledge may also need to complete the Bookkeeping units of AAT Level 2.
You will receive support from both the employer and the training provider to complete and achieve your apprenticeship and will be given time to study during the week on a day release basis. As you are working towards a professional qualification, it is also expected that you will continue your studies outside of normal office hours.
As you learn more in both the office and in your studies your responsibilities, and the variety of tasks you undertake, are expected to increase.

A small but busy accountancy practice based in Crossgates, Leeds is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Apprentice Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accountancy.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate. The successful candidate will gain experience across a range of accounting duties while studying towards the AAT L2 qualification, with full support provided by the employer. We would be keen to progress you to your L3, and L4 following this.
You will receive training in areas such as payroll, accounts preparation, taxation, bookkeeping, and the use of computerised accounting software, including Sage and Xero.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing payroll for clients
Completing Companies House compliance tasks
Preparing sole trader and limited company accounts using VT software
Processing and submitting VAT returns for clients
Carrying out bookkeeping duties, mainly using Xero and occasionally other accounting packages
Preparing personal tax returns using IRIS
Preparing company tax returns using IRIS
Assisting senior accountants with general accounting and administrative tasks
Maintaining accurate financial records for clients
Requirements:
Good standard of education, ideally including strong mathematics skills.
Interest in pursuing a career in accountancy and finance.
Willingness to study towards the AAT qualification.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team in a busy office environment.

As our Audio Visual Apprentice, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality AV and production services across a wide range of events - from meetings and conferences to live and hybrid experiences.
Working alongside our AV Technicians, you’ll get hands-on experience setting up, operating and de-rigging equipment. This could include microphones, sound desks, video conferencing systems and digital displays, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
You’ll also support live events, assisting with sound, basic mixing and technical setup, while learning how different elements come together to create a professional event experience.
Alongside the practical side, you’ll build your knowledge through a Level 5 Audiovisual Technician apprenticeship. You’ll develop your skills in AV technology, production and event delivery, while gaining real experience in a busy, professional environment.
Day to day, you’ll help check and maintain equipment, support meeting rooms, and work with teams across the organisation to deliver filming, streaming and technical event requirements.
It’s a varied, hands-on role where you’ll learn by doing, supported by an experienced team.
A little more about the role:
Support the setup, operation and pack-down of AV equipment for events
Assist with live and hybrid event delivery, including sound and basic production support
Carry out routine checks of meeting rooms and provide first-line AV support
Work with teams such as IT and IET.tv to support filming and streaming
Help maintain and track AV equipment and inventory
Provide friendly, professional support to internal and external clients
Complete the Level 5 Audiovisual Technician apprenticeship programme
