The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance and repair on plant manufacturing and facilities equipment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Preheats production equipment for daily startup. Performs daily conditions checks on all operating equipment. Lubricates assigned equipment according to lubrication schedule. Maintains lubricant levels for mixer seal system and strainer ram lubrication system, check pumps % daily maintain grease levels, check pumps % daily. Checks all equipment air filters on a daily basis and replaces as necessary. Checks operation of air compressor and cooling tower daily, notes problems and makes corrections as required. Check monthly with Cooling Water Treatment Technician. Checks operation of algicide feeding system daily and refills as needed. Makes repairs to facilities as needed to include plumbing, heating, and A/C. Performs minor electrical maintenance. Operates maintenance machine tools, performs welding as needed, cutting torch and brazing. Responsible for maintenance shop housekeeping. Follows safe practices in the performance of all duties. Delivers and picks up items used for maintenance needs. Maintain air in line oiler throughout plant when needed lubricates. Performs other miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor.
Pay:
The hourly rate will be commensurate with the applicant's relevant experience.
