Craft Apprentice

Carry out instructions from the technical services manager and team leaders in all aspects of the role To produce a consistently high standard of work, meeting the targets and deadlines set by the manager and relevant training facilitators To identify and where possible offer solutions to training issues and procedures Under instruction and within training guidelines, operate/train in the use of Cullum machinery/ equipment in order to gain a good knowledge of machine capacities and metal working techniques Learn and develop welding techniques and skills with a view to securing qualification in this discipline Learn and develop plating skills and increase knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes General labouring duties around the shop floor including fettling/ cleaning fabricated items and sweeping up when necessary

Training:

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected
to work towards the Metal Fabricator Level 3, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.

Training Outcome:

Possible full time position within the company for the right candidate

Monday to Thursday: 6.00am - 4.15pm
