Apprentice Mechanics Maintenance Technician

Your day to day work will include:

Preventative maintenance tasks to schedule on automated brewing equipment Corrective maintenance tasks on automated brewing equipment Bench fitting Turning PLC, HMI and Scada control system diagnostics and repair Diagnostics and Repair of Motor control circuits Welding to include TIG for stainless steel

Training:

Engineering Technician- Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
Apprenticeship Level Advanced (Level 3), 48months

Training to be provided For the full apprenticeship, candidates will complete:

Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) (601/7179/0) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)- Mechatronics Maintenance Technician (603/3845/3) Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) (603/1353/5)

For the End Point Assessment (EPA) apprentices will undertake a viva interview, a portfolio of evidence and a professional competency assessment (usually a workplace project).

Apprentices are expected to attend college one day per week (term-time only) at the Ipswich Road campus, located near Norwich city centre.

Training Outcome:
A position may be available for the right candidate following successful completion of the apprenticeship The business is looking for somebody who wants to develop and gain a position following their apprenticeship
