Agricultural Service Engineer Apprentice

Building Grain Driers Refurbishing Grain Driers and/or other agricultural and ground care equipment Servicing of agricultural machinery Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop Washing down of second hand equipment Fault diagnosis PDI inspections Customer site visits for breakdown, service and commissioning of agricultural equipment

All aspects of training given, including obtaining fork lift licence, electrics including 3 phase, welding, service and maintenance of agricultural equipment.



Training:
The apprentice will be working towards the Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard College attendance required once per week at Colchester Institute's Braintree Campus (transport from Colchester campus provided if needed)

Training Outcome:

Good long term prospects with an excellent opportunity to progress to higher responsibilities within the business.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm. Tea breaks 10 - 10.15am and 3 - 3.15pm. Lunch break 1 - 1:30pm.
