Apprentice Welder/Fabricator

They will be shadowing a qualified welder/fabricator Will assist with various minor duties in the workshop to gain experience, (small welding jobs including plasma cutting, using grinders and drills, bandsaw and guillotine work and more).

Training:
The qualifications and training will be agreed upon with the college and is still to be decided/confirmed.

Training Outcome:
This role will include working in both indoor and outdoor environments and will include lifting. On the first day at site the successful student(s) will be provided with the company’s standard induction including time with a member of the health and safety department as well as HR. All role relevant training will be provided on site unless otherwise specified.

Working Hours :
The shifts will be Monday to Friday (including 1 day academic leave) The hours will be either 7:00am-15:30pm or 8:00am-16:30pm. The hours for the academic study will be set by the provider.
