Due to continued growth, Eat IT Drink IT are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join their team in their Leeds office; if you have a varied technical knowledge, solid problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude, this is the role for you. The main responsibility of the role will be to go out to client sites providing network support with and without a manager. The candidate must drive as you will be potentially going out to clients a few days at a time.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Troubleshooting
- Configure networks
- Network cabling – Cat5 and Cat 6
- Connect computer network devices such as modems, routers, computers, servers and switches.
- Go out to client sites working on technical issues, providing IT and Network support
- Look at hardware errors adding ram, hard drives – upgrading Windows OS
- Setting up routers

Giving every visitor and customer a friendly welcome when they enter the premises
Check all booking requirements and set the room up according to the hirers needs
Meeting and greeting the person responsible hiring the premises to make sure that the room is set up to requirements stated on the booking form
Act as a point of contact throughout the hire period, answer any queries and ensure any customer queries and complaints quickly and professionally
Going through the fire procedures and inform customers if there is an expected fire drill that day and inform them of the procedures
Checking the booked refreshments exact numbers for these and inform the kitchen staff of the set times for the day events including any buffet orders
Making sure that all areas where refreshments are to be served are set out in the correct manner and are clean and presentable
Assist in setting up and down rooms down for events and storing all equipment / furniture in the relevant places including technical equipment
Valuing our customers by engaging them in appropriate conversation and making them feel welcome
Making sure that every hirer is sent a customer satisfaction survey to complete
Reporting any defects or other issues to the rooms to your line manager

With the rapid increase in the complexity of today’s trucks – and the technology needed to keep them up and running – first class training for those involved in the vital servicing and maintenance of these vehicles has become more important than ever.
The DAF Apprentice Programme gives you the chance to join the select group of specialist technicians working on some of the most modern, sophisticated trucks on the road.
The day to day tasks include:
Observing and assisting technicians
Following health and safety procedures
Servicing
MOTs
All aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair
Training:Not only will apprentices be working and be trained at a DAF garage, they will attend City of Bristol College, four times a year, for two-week periods, to work towards their Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
A skills coach will visit at least every 28 days as part of a close support network, to ensure that apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course.
An apprentice’s training includes:
Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Apprenticeship Standard
Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

Purpose of the job:

Assist dentist, hygienist or therapist by providing dental chairside support duties relevant to stage of competence under supervision of a named GDC registrant in accordance with the GDC guidance for trainee dental nurses
Keep a log of your structured induction and on-going compliance training using Training Record template (M 222E) and ensure each training session is counter-signed by your supervisor - a named GDC registrant
Work towards a nationally recognised qualification leading to the registration with the GDC
Follow all practice policies and procedures
Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all of the dental team
Liaise with the practice manager on all matters concerning administration, pay and conditions
Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required
Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your work

Training Outcome:The successful candidate will work towards achieving a Level 3 qualification in dental nursing whilst gaining valuable experience in a dental practice.
Upon completion of the Level 3 qualification, you will be an experienced and qualified dental nurse, and as such, you can continue building up skills that will always be in-demand. You could progress to acquire specialist qualifications in areas such as sedation, dental radiography, and oral health education.
