Working as part of a dedicated on-site team you will provide system administration and 1st line support for a complex physical network within Microsoft environment.
Purpose of the Role:
As an Apprentice IT Analyst, you will provide first-line IT support and assist with maintaining systems and services. You’ll gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system administration, and supporting IT projects while learning from experienced professionals.
As you progress through the apprenticeship program, you will work toward achieving key responsibilities:

Provide technical support: Act as the first point of contact for IT queries via phone, email, or support portal
Assist with system administration: Help manage user accounts, O365 mailboxes, and Active Directory tasks

Contribute to projects and improvements: Participate in IT initiatives, documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto an Application Support Lead Apprenticeship Level 4 qualification which normally runs for 15-months plus EPA. You will be fully supported by our partnered college to achieve this qualification by attending online sessions per week, having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office. Your weekly tasks could include:
To undertake a range of business support tasks such as managing your own emails, copying, scanning, faxing, archiving, post, answering the telephone and taking messages.

As an IT Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s technology needs, providing first-line technical support, and assisting with IT projects. You will work closely with experienced colleagues who will support your learning and development throughout the programme.
Your focus will be on building on these initiatives for Peoples Place Community Partnership (PPCP) in Toxteth, Liverpool as well x2 other sites within the city support PPCP’s friendly educational client with their IT Support plus a fortnightly trip to a site in Huddersfield and monthly team meetings in London. All expenses covered!
The duties we see the candidate taking on over the first 13 months includes the following:
Provide support and high-level customer service to staff in a remote capacity, responding to IT queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems, owning tickets through to resolution
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Fix, set up and configure IT equipment such as laptops, PC build, printers and hardware devices
Assist with user account management (password resets, permissions, and access requests)
Help maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and system records
Support the rollout of new technologies, software updates, and security patches – Microsoft 365, CCTV, PC Break Fix
Work with the IT team to ensure systems and data remain secure and compliant
Escalate more complex issues to senior team members when necessary

During the course of your apprenticeship, you will:
Learn to provide consistently high levels of customer service, ensuring all building users feel supported and welcomed.
Carry out general building‑related duties across managed sites, working within your personal competency and following direction from supervisors.
Develop your knowledge of day‑to‑day facilities tasks, including reception duties, identity checks, opening and locking up procedures, and the use of personal radios.

Training will take place in the workplace
You will need to attend online training with your assessor for 1 day a week for the first 8 weeks of your 14-month apprenticeship, for your classroom-based learning and you will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor
You will complete a qualification in paediatric first aid
Training Outcome:Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full-time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for:

As a BIM Apprentice, you will support the delivery and management of digital construction information across live projects while developing your technical knowledge and practical experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM). Working alongside BIM Coordinators, BIM Managers, design teams, and site teams, you will help ensure project information is produced, managed, and coordinated in line with company and industry standards.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the creation, review, and management of digital models using various software, digital platforms and other enabling technologies.
Supporting BIM teams in carrying out model coordination and clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks and other coordination tools.
Managing and maintaining project information within the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring documentation is stored, shared, and updated correctly.
Carrying out quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) checks on project information to ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and company procedures.

The Apprentice will gain the experience and skills needed to become an Outdoor Instructor in the Outdoor Adventure /Education Industry.
This role involves:
Learning the set skills and obtaining the relevant qualifications to safely deliver quality outdoor activity sessions (canoeing, walking, ropes course and archery).
Learning group management skills to deliver engaging sessions.
The Apprentice will work alongside a team, mainly based at the Thoulstone Park, working with tourists and school children.
Other tasks involve the maintenance of kit, building of new activities /resources and evolution of sessions delivered (this may be in written form).
A week looks like on average 37 hours.
