My client is an estabslished engineering manufacturing firm based in Walsall and commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth. They are currently looking for a skilled and motivated EDM Operator to join their team.
The Role of EDM Machine Operator:
- Being trained on a CNC EDM machine
- Producing metal components
- Working from drawings
- Working to tight tolerances
- Quality checking parts using various hand tools
- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
- Working independently and as part of a team
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Experience operating CNC machines, such as EDM, Turning, Lathe, Milling, Boring or Grinding
- Able to quality check own parts
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Keen to learn new skills and develop
- Motivated and excellent team player

Duties include:
