Support learners to develop their English, Maths and IT skills

Holt Engineering have a very exciting Trainee opportunity for someone looking to become a fully skilled Production Technician.
This role will be working alongside an organised production team to ensure testing and build targets are met, this role involves machine testing, building sub-assemblies, finished products and any other tasks as and when needed.
Previous experience within engineering or manufacturing environments is essential, experience of assembling electrical or mechanical goods is desirable but full training will be given.
The starting Salary is £26,000 with the opportunity to increase up to £30,000 per year, the role is based in Poole working a day shift with an early finish on Fridays

The Role:
As a Mechanic, you will collaborate with the leading mechanic and certifier on assigned zones / aircraft.
Responsibilities:
? Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks using approved documentation and procedures.
? Adhere to Health and Safety and Human Factors best practices.
? Complete all paperwork to required standards in line with the MOE.
? Maintain cleanliness in personal work areas, hangar bays, and facilities.
? Report significant findings promptly.
? Raise safety reports for any hazards or incidents.
? Undertake additional duties as requested.
Requirements:
Essential:
? Previous experience in a similar role.
? Recognised apprenticeship in the aircraft industry or similar.
? Knowledge and hands-on experience in Line Maintenance activities.
? Ability to work shift patterns, including nights.

? Right to work in the UK.
