As a Business Administrator apprentice, you will:
Greet and support clients in person, by phone and via email
Respond to or forward client enquiries to the appropriate staff member
Book appointments and manage calendars for business advisers

Help prepare documents and materials for workshops, events and webinars

Day to day tasks include:
Assist in performing welding operations including MIG, TIG and MMA (stick) welding
Prepare and clean materials prior to welding
Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations (SHE) at all times
Maintain tools, welding equipment, and the workshop area
Conduct basic quality checks on welds
Record completed work and maintain accurate logs in line with apprenticeship requirements
Participate in off-the-job training, assessments, and reviews

You will be working to achieve the new Roofing Standard ST0270 at level 2. If Functional Skills in English and maths are required prior to the End-Point Assessment, you'll also work to complete those. 80% of the training will take place on various construction sites working with qualified tradespeople
The other 20% will be off-the-job training based on weekly blocks at Juniper Training College. (Accommodation, breakfast, and evening meals provided). You will also undertake training for working at heights, power tools and the correct use of mechanical access equipment such as cherry pickers
