You will be trained to be able to design, build and test high-quality software solutions.
You will learn to apply engineering principles to all stages of the software development process, from requirements, through analysis and design, development, implementation, integration and verification.
In parallel with the academic aspects of the scheme providing a foundation of knowledge, you will be assigned to projects where, you will be gaining the specific software engineering competence and skills applicable to the complex display and control systems designed and manufactured by BAE Systems, Electronic Systems at Rochester.
As you progress through the scheme, your work will become more challenging with greater responsibility, with the end goal of leaving the scheme as a qualified Software Engineer.
