You will spend most of your time working in the dealership gaining hands-on experience and on the job training under the supervision of a trained mentor.

Duties include:
Record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of works carried out on each vehicle.
Assist our workshop employees in all aspects of looking after our HGV’s.
Learn about maintenance, a tidy workplace and Health and Safety processes and procedures to ensure you work safely within our workshops.
Training:Training will be provided in our workshop, alongside skilled technicians, and regular block release training at the Remit Centre of Learning in Derby.
On course completion, apprentices will be recognised with an Advanced Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. This will include VCQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.Training Outcome:
Qualified HGV Technician - Level 3
Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

Training:An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.The default length to complete the Dental nurse (integrated) apprenticeship standard is 18 months. Training Outcome:
After completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position upon successful completion

On top of the above, the individual will learn working practices and how to function in a lean business where prioritisation is key.Training:Types of training offered at (AQ) Limited covers both tacit and explicit knowledge, as we understand that this needs to be gained through experience as well as taught.
Onboarding: The apprentice will be introduced to essential industry standards, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and key compliance and security protocols. Training will cover phishing awareness, physical access policies, and other critical security measures.
Buddy System: Each apprentice will be paired with an experienced developer who will provide specialised training and mentorship, offering insights into daily tasks and best practices. This supported relationship will allow the apprentice to get hands-on experience safely.
Technical Training (by team): Skilled team members will be readily available to support and guide the apprentice in developing specific technical skills as they progress. Huddles and other team meetings will also be advantageous opportunities to learn from.
Product Training: The apprentice will work closely with the product team to learn about the company’s offerings and how customers use them. This foundational knowledge will provide crucial context for backend development tasks and contribute to a well-rounded understanding of project goals.
At the end of the apprenticeship the individual will receive a diploma in software development and may receive a job offer.
Training will be completed in a mixture of locations, either on-site at Salem Chapel in Leeds or remotely from the individual’s secure location of choice.
