The Role
We are looking for a skilled MET Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves dismantling, repairing, and rebuilding vehicles to the highest standard, while supporting a smooth and efficient workflow across the bodyshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove and refit parts to ensure body repairs meet a high-quality standard
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
- Identify and report unseen damage absent from the original estimate
- Carry out 4-wheel alignment, suspension work, GEO diagnostics, and other mechanical tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
- ATA/NVQ qualifications advantageous but not essential
- Ideally trained in Hybrid/Electric vehicles
- Ideally ADAS trained
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Accurately enter and process detailed customer orders using internal systems
Check order information and customer account details before processing
Respond professionally to customer emails, including order and general enquiries
Learn processes in the Logistics department and support them as required to meet business needs
Answer incoming telephone calls to provide customer support

Monthly workshops delivered by Warrington & Vale Royal College
One-to-one tutorials and workplace assessment visits
Ongoing support to help you develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to achieve the qualification
Training Outcome:
During this apprenticeship, you will gain the skills and experience required to progress within a career in Customer Services as an Adviser which can then progress to a Senior Adviser and eventually to Team Leader or Manager positions

Main purposes of the role:
Prepping Oxhoo EPOS terminals for sales
Repairing EPOS terminals
Technical phone support
Key tasks will include, but not be limited to:
Picking stock for sales orders and preparing for despatch
Fault finding and repairing Epos terminals
Answering incoming technical calls and emails
Key results will be;
Recognising products
Technically preparing products for sales orders
Identifying issues with faulty products
Repairing faulty equipment
Gaining confidence dealing with incoming queries via email and telephone

Assist experienced joiners with a variety of carpentry and joinery tasks
Learn how to measure, cut and install timber products accurately
Support the construction and installation of doors, frames, skirting boards, flooring and other wooden fixtures
Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working space
Follow Health and Safety procedures at all times
Load and unload materials and assist with site preparation
Work alongside other trades and members of the construction team
Attend Salford City College on a day release and complete all apprenticeship coursework and assessments
