This apprenticeship combines old-school coachbuilding with the use of cutting-edge technology. Apprentices will be taught about: The history and development of materials and vehicle construction Hand skills, technical drawing and pattern development and welding Fabrication including bending, folding, shrinking and stretching Wheeling, making bucks, removal and replacement of components The successful applicant will work with Master Coachbuilders building unique iconic vehicles.Training:The ‘Heritage Engineering Level 3 Apprenticeship’ is a nationally recognised qualification delivered by ‘HSA’ from its Coachbuilding Academy based at ‘Brooklands Museum’ in Surrey.
