A Level 1 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable.Training:Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face block release weeks at our state-of-the-art training centre.

Aid the production of Technical Queries (TQs) under direction of the Senior Engineer or Site Agent
Assist in preparing, monitoring, and managing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure deliverables meet contract specifications and standards; help prevent remedial work
Help collate and prepare As-Built information, making sure that site changes are properly documented
Collaborate with other project team members — engineers, subcontractors, managers — to coordinate work and ensure quality
Reflect on your learning journey, capture lessons learned and suggest improvements or efficiencies in working practices

Under supervision and with training, you will:

Learning how to set, program and operate a range of CNC machine tools to produce machine tool components.
Machines include: Lathes, Milling, Grinding, Multi-Tasking, 5 axis machines and Component Inspection.
Training:Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located in Worcester (WR4 9GN).
Duration approximately 40-45 months.
Year 1, between 22–39 weeks are spent at HWGTA Training Centre developing practical engineering skills, alongside one day per week in the classroom, completing the theoretical elements of the EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.Year 2, predominantly based in your company, returning to the Training Centre one day per week to continue and complete the specialised elements of their Level 3 Diploma (Development Knowledge).
