About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will assist students across different age groups (9-19 years old) in their social, emotional, and academic development, helping them reach personal and educational goals.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group interventions for students with autism, SLD, and other complex needs, adapting strategies to their unique learning styles and needs.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters progress and participation.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will offer personal care and support where necessary, ensuring all students feel safe, respected, and supported in their daily routines and learning.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will collaborate with the teaching team to assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, maintaining records, and helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with each student’s individual needs.
What We’re Looking For:
Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, immediate start.
Previous experience in a school setting is a preferable, however, any professional experience working with children in the UK will be considered.
Willingness to provide personal care if needed and to support children with SEND.
Must have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced Child-Only DBS check.
Ideally reside in or near Chessington or have reliable transportation to commute to the area.
