Main Duties:

What the apprentice will do at work:
The apprentice will rotate across Trading Operations, Market Surveillance, Clearing Services, Treasury Operations & Analytics, and Clearing Risk, gaining broad experience across LME and LME Clear.
They will support electronic trading supervision, reference price generation, and market monitoring to help ensure markets remain fair, transparent, and orderly. They will also assist with identifying unusual activity, drafting communications, and responding to stakeholder queries.
In Clearing Services and Treasury, the apprentice will help with trade capture, settlement, collateral movements, reconciliations, cash monitoring, payments, and reporting, while developing an understanding of clearing house and treasury operations.
In Clearing Risk, they will support the monitoring of member exposures, collateral, liquidity, and market risks, as well as assist with reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
Overall, the role offers practical experience across trading, surveillance, clearing, treasury, and risk, while building analytical, operational, technical, and professional skills.Training:Investment Operations Specialist Level 4.
