KHR are working with a bespoke manufacturer based in Tunbridge Wells that manufactures a portfolio of niche products. They are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join them on a temporary basis until the end of September.
The Warehouse Operative will be working both alone and as part of a team with accuracy, efficiency and commitment to complete the work and strive to maintain the business performance targets and individual KPIs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Picking & packing products
- Handle ‘goods in’ (unloading, checking, storing, and administration) from suppliers
- Daily forklift use
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to company procedures
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy, and maintaining equipment
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
Candidate Profile
- Experienced with a good understanding of warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally, previous warehouse experience

The Role of Supply Chain Graduate
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Supply Chain Graduate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of production planning and plant operations within a busy animal feed manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will coordinate short, medium and long-term production schedules, manage planned and unplanned plant downtime, and ensure production activities align with customer requirements, feed quality standards, and operational targets.
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Graduate:
Develop and maintain production schedules in line with customer demand, stock availability and manufacturing capacity.
Adjust production plans to accommodate maintenance activities, breakdowns and changing business priorities.
Support quality assurance activities and contribute to internal and external audits, including UFAS, HACCP, GMP+, VMD and customer audits.
Assist with formulation updates, product trials and nutritional analysis activities where required.
Maintain accurate production planning databases, stock records and performance data.
Liaise with Technical, Raw Materials, Engineering, Logistics and Sales teams to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency.
Coordinate customer orders and support the resolution of customer queries and complaints.
Promote high standards of health, safety, feed safety and quality across the site.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant performance, product quality and operational efficiency.
Skills and Experience
The ideal Supply Chain Graduate will possess:
A degree in Supply Chain Management (or related fields, e.g. Operations management, Manufacturing Management, Business Management, Logistics etc.)
Ambitious, willing to learn and ambition to develop and progress their career within Production and Planning.
Some previous production planning experience within manufacturing, food, feed, process or a similar production environment would be advantageous.
Strong organisational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
Good IT skills, including experience with planning systems, databases and spreadsheets.
The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while responding to changing operational demands.

Title: Testing Technician
Summary:
Support the Research & Development laboratory team in the development, modification, and evaluation of high-performance corrosion-resistant coatings, linings, and fireproofing products. This role reports directly to the Testing Supervisor or senior lab personnel and plays a key part in ensuring product quality and innovation. The Technician I will perform routine laboratory testing, conduct quality control evaluations, grade test panels, complete paint calculations, and maintain accurate laboratory documentation-all while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced team members.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred: 1 year of college-level Chemistry coursework or a minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience. Must successfully pass a Jaeger Eye Test.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Regular exposure to various chemicals including, but not limited to, amines, polyamides, isocyanates, epoxies, alkyds, acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Must be able to pass an annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Essential Functions:
Operate laboratory instruments and perform testing in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain accurate, organized, and timely documentation in lab notebooks and digital systems.
Grade test panels and record results following standard evaluation methods.
Assist with data collection and analysis to support product performance and troubleshooting.
Utilize lab software for reporting, calculations, and inventory tracking.
Collaborate with supervisors to prepare and complete project reports.
Understand and reference Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials used.
Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and environmental regulations.
Apply coatings using spray, roller, and brush techniques.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Support compliance with hazardous waste handling and training requirements.
Use Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Word, Excel) for daily tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong metrology, CMM inspection, and quality control experience to work on precision components in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will carry out inspection activities, support incoming goods and internal quality processes, and help ensure components meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements.
About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for material inspection, dimensional measurement, and quality assurance activities across manufactured and procured components. The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely. There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
