Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Store deliveries and cage work in predominantly double deck trailers
Location: Burton on Trent
Pay Rate: £18.04 to £19.79 p/h (static clock)
Shifts: Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift - Sunday to Thursday (Days + Nights)
Driver Type: Class 1 (C+E)
Experience: 2 years Class 1 experience required

Join a well-established operation with consistent work, modern vehicles and immediate starts available. Initial routes will be completed with established drivers, to help you understand the finer details of the role.

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:
Deliveries are primarily caged deliveries to Hobbycraft storesThere may be the occasional pallet, but the vast majority of the work is cage-basedDrivers are responsible for:Delivering cages into the storeReturning salvageManaging the delivery paperwork/process correctlyBoth day and night drivers will physically handle the cage deliveriesNight Deliveries – Airlock ProcessWhat We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving LicenceAt least 2 years' commercial Class 1 driving experienceA valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)A valid Digital Tachograph CardA professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer serviceOur client may accept up to 6 penalty points. Unfortunately, applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.

Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel independently to and from the site. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
