Where required, conduct litigation on behalf of the organization, be responsible for the care and conduct of such proceedings and act as the advocate before Courts, inquiries, hearings and tribunals including contested hearing.
Prepare matters and papers for any form of legal or quasi legal proceedings and undertake any statutory or administrative task ordinarily required of Legal Services.
Deal with disputes and complaints.

With a group of over 30 companies we have a very diverse workload and you will gain experience in Commercial Contracts including as a SaaS provider, Company Secretarial Work for a private limited company, mergers and acquisitions, IP, data protection, AI implementation and mangement, employment law and litigation.
You will report to the Group General Counsel and be the fourth member of the team. The team is made up of the GC, a Legal Counsel who we supported to qualify this year and another apprentice who will complete their SQE1 next year.
We work remotely but our GC is available throughout the day to support you in the work that you do.
· Administrative Support: Handling correspondence, managing files and maintaining records including our central resource library for in-house clients "The Legal Support Hub".
· Operational project work: To manage the workload that we process we are always look to implement new "legal tech" and systems. We run a rolling program of projects to drive efficiency in every area of our work .
· Property and IP: Maintain central registers.
· Data Protection: Assisting with subject access requests and breach reports.
· Legal Research: Assisting with legal research using on-line resources and databases.
· Document Drafting: Preparing legal documents using templates and guidance. In particular you will support the General Counsel with drafting in litigation.
