A typical day might involve monitoring social media channels, responding to messages from the public, writing articles or content for the website and social media and collating data & recording it accurately.
The role will help support the wider team whilst giving you exposure to how the waste service operates and will include the opportunity to see first-hand how waste is managed and processed in Buckinghamshire.
Your work will focus on supporting projects that encourage residents to reduce, reuse and recycle more. It includes creating content to share with local residents about waste and recycling, this could be on our website or via social channels or include input into printed media such as magazine articles and leaflets. Other responsibilities will include attending public events, responding to resident queries, engaging with community groups, schools and external stakeholders and supporting the contracts team to deliver excellent services.
All this will develop in you an understanding of marketing techniques and communication tools and how these can be applied to waste management in a local government setting, and the role of communications in promoting good waste behaviours. This work can then be applied to real life campaigns and promotions and assist with delivering a key Council service. Alongside your day-to-day role you will also study to achieve the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship throughout the duration of your time with us. For this we’ll assign you time during your working week for study and assessments - which means no evening or weekend study is required.
Training:You will gain experience in a large organisation, whilst studying towards your nationally recognised qualification - Multi-channel Marketer level 3 qualification - with 20% time out of the workplace for study, training and assessments.

To provide administrative support for the work of the Operations and Development section and to the medical practitioner’s tribunals and interim orders tribunals. Hearing and office-based support is arranged on a rota basis but primarily the role will be hearing based with occasional time spent supporting the wider office administration.
Time supporting hearings will involve several facets including setting up hearing links or hearing rooms in advance, welcoming parties to the hearing environment and making sure they have the equipment and access to systems that they need, document management (uploading and sharing documents) witness support (bringing /admitting witnesses to the hearing, swearing in of witnesses and assisting witnesses), updating our ‘hearing commentary’ system with key information and providing support to doctors during hearings.
Office based administrative support will involve preparing of documents from templates and guidance, processing documentation to be shared in advance of the hearing, supporting attendees to hearings by conducting test calls, updating systems and responding to telephone and email queries.
Main responsibilities
To assist with duties in connection with the running of hearings, including:
Assisting with setting up and clearing hearing rooms.
Sending out hearing links and other key prehearing documentation.
Providing support to all parties attending hearings including practitioners and their representatives, GMC representatives, witnesses and the tribunal themselves.

Apprenticeship Advertising:
Post apprenticeship vacancies on the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) and other recruitment platforms
Ensure job adverts are accurate, engaging, and compliant with TDR and funding body requirements
Application Processing:
Manage incoming applications from candidates applying for apprenticeship roles
Review and process applications promptly, maintaining accurate records
Testing and Assessment Coordination:
Arrange and schedule candidate testing and assessments.
Support assessors by preparing test materials and marking completed assessments
Interview Coordination:
Organise and schedule interviews between applicants and TDR assessors
Prepare and distribute interview invitations and confirmations
Communication and Candidate Support:
Draft and send professional correspondence to candidates, including interview invitations, test results, and updates
