What You'll Be Doing
Primary Focus – Sales Desk
- Responding to customer enquiries, creating quotes, and processing sales orders
- Organising UK deliveries and sample requests
- Advising clients on product options, specifications, and environmental factors
- Liaising with Area Managers and the Purchasing team to coordinate stock and pricing
- Conducting stock checks and recommending ancillary or complementary items
- Sourcing products to support customer project requirements
- Secondary Focus – Purchasing Desk (potential future transition)
- Processing supplier orders and managing project registrations
- Coordinating inbound goods and updating pricing information
- Responding to internal technical queries and managing supplier documents
- Maintaining the Vendor Library and sourcing alternatives where needed

- Exceptional attention to detail – if you don’t naturally spot errors or inconsistencies, this won’t be the right fit
- Strong communication skills – clear, friendly, and professional
- System literacy – comfortable navigating CRM/order systems, Excel and other Microsoft applications

The Kia Combined Service and Parts apprenticeship programme will support the apprentice to gain the knowledge and skills needed to become a fully qualified and accredited Kia service and parts advisor.Once qualified, they will be responsible for:
Customer contact and experience
Taking customer bookings and scheduling services and repairs
Communicating the customer's work and faults to the vehicle technicians
Handling customer complaints
Advice and guidance for vehicle care and warranty retention and warranty claims
Taking orders from customers, both face-to-face and over the phone
Maintaining an ordered stock room and finding parts from stock
Raising invoices
Advise on accessories and modifications
Warranty claims and returns
Training:Working towards a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required. As part of the apprenticeship training, apprentices will complete 8 blocks of learning covering the following subjects:
Professional development
Delivering a quality business-focused service
Teamwork
Cultural and environmental awareness
Communication and influencing skills
Delivering customer excellence
Handling customer complaints
Inventory and stock management
Receiving and processing payments

The duties will depend on your experience and training. Generally, you'll need to:
Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
Make sure that the pupils you support are able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity
Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour and promoting positive behaviour
Listen to pupils read and read to pupils as a class, group or one-to-one
Guide and monitor pupil progress
Help with the planning of some lessons
Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils' progress
Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources
Look after pupils who have had accidents, need help dressing or are upset
Create art displays of pupils' artwork
Provide support outside of your normal classes, such as helping during exams, covering TA absences or going on school trips
Help with extracurricular activity such as breakfast and after-school clubs, homework club, revision sessions or lunchtime duties
Supervise other support staff
Coordinate specific areas of teaching support once you have the right level of experience
Training:The apprentice will attend the Filton Campus of SGS College, one day a week, during term time to complete their learning.
