Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will perform all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, reporting, preparation of interim payments, and settlement of final accounts in a professional manner and in accordance with company guidelines.
Liaise and assist with internal Estimating and external resources during the pre-construction stage.

Manage the procurement process, prepare, and oversee the procurement schedule and ensure scope of work accuracy for all subcontract packages.
Manage subcontract packages and oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants along with normal QS duties.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the difference between cost and value and drive a value-seeking mindset throughout the overall project team.
Build and maintain good relationships with the subcontract and supply chain base.
Attend site and ensure sufficient records of progress are taken on a regular basis and are adequately documented.
Prepare Part V submissions and conclude all relevant negotiations.
Accountable for the timely completion of the monthly QS cycle on site.
Work closely with the Project Team to ensure successful delivery and completion of the project.

6-10+ years post-graduate experience with a Main Contractor or Developer.
Residential/House Building construction experience preferred.

Groundworks Estimator. Our client, a leading groundworks/civils contractor who operate across the country, are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team based in Iver, Buckinghamshire.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years estimating experience with a strong groundwork/civils background and will hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Duties will include but are not limited to the below:
Ensuring all applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms
Ensuring sub-contractor payments are made on time
Overseeing the commercial team
Completing client valuations
Monitoring all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate
Pricing all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctly
To produce and agree a monthly application

You would be based at our NW London industrial premises and be a valued part of the service team. You will be required to attend field service calls, diagnose, repair and report on findings on laundry equipment in and around London. We are looking for HVAC Engineers who are multi-skilled with HVAC, Chiller, Air-Con & Refrigeration, carrying out remedial works and maintenance services on a range of both commercial & industrial buildings. Various reactive and remedial works are required to maintain the plant operation and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance of commercial rooftop heating and cooling equipment.
Communicate with management regarding status of work orders.
Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. Air conditioning systems, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance.
Installation of air-conditioning equipment, heating and ventilation systems.
Maintain service vehicle, tools and equipment in good working order.
Participate in meetings, workshops and training as required.
Requirements
Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning FETAC Level 6.
Background in service and installation of AC equipment preferable.
Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience.
Valid/clean drivers’ licence.
Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of Split AC, VRV systems, Fan Coil Units and Air Handling Units.
