This role would suit someone with some prior exposure to site work or the fit-out and refurbishment industry, who is now looking to take the next step in their career. Assisting in the surveying and estimating of fit-out and refurbishment projects
Measuring and taking off quantities from drawings and specifications
Attending site visits to carry out valuations and monitor progress
Supporting with procurement, cost reporting, and preparation of project documentation
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
Preparing quotations and variations under the guidance of senior team members
Contributing to project planning and maintaining accurate records throughout each stage
Requirements:
Some previous experience or understanding of the commercial fit-out/construction industry
Knowledge of estimating or project coordination is beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail with good commercial awareness
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Familiarity with AutoCAD or design software would be an advantage
Positive, eager-to-learn attitude and ability to work within a collaborative team environment

Selling to Endoscope leads/decontamination leads/estate managers/FM's/Procurement - Multi-Tiered sales.
Replacement/Project based business so lead times can be anything from 3 months - 3 years.
Identify and develop new business opportunities with the objective to increase the install base.
Development & maintenance of sales pipeline.
Development of alternative purchasing options i.e. pay per use models.
Deliver informal user training, including Process Manager • prepare and present tailored presentations to prospective new accounts
Maintain & build relationships with Health Care Professionals, KDM’s & AEd’s
Covering Dyfed-Powys, West Mercia, South Wales, Gwent, Gloucestershire, Avon & Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon & Cornwall

They are a firm of construction consultants offering clients both cost management and project management services.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be keen to join a PQS as an Associate Quantity Surveyor.
You will currently be either a Senior QS or Associate QS with another firm of PQS.
You need to have experience of working on projects across a range of sectors including commercial offices, large residential, some infrastructure and more.
You need to have excellent experience of all pre and post contract QS duties.
You should be MRICS qualified.
You should be able to supervise others.
You should have a stable work record.
You must have excellent English both written and spoken along with good IT skills and have good client facing skills.
