An opportunity has arisen for a Fire Alarm Engineer / Fire & Security Engineer to join a well-established fire protection engineering company delivering specialist life-safety solutions across a broad range of sectors.
As a Fire Alarm Engineer / Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, commissioning and repairing fire and life-safety systems across multiple customer sites.
This full-time permanent role offers a starting salary of £40,000 (Negotiable) plus overtime and callout payments and benefits.
UK wide travel and overnight stays will be required.
You Will Be Responsible For
? Maintaining and repairing fire protection systems in line with current standards
? Commissioning fire detection and suppression systems
? Attending reactive service calls for fire alarms, emergency lighting and associated equipment
? Fault finding and rectification across a range of systems
? Completing service reports and compliance documentation
? Managing tools, stock and company vehicle responsibly
? Representing the business professionally on customer sites
? Participating in an on-call rota as required
What We Are Looking For
? Previously worked as a Fire & Security Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer, Fire extinguisher engineer, Fire detection engineer or in a similar role.
? Strong background in fire systems maintenance and repair, or transferable electrical/mechanical experience
? Electrical qualification such as 18th Edition or equivalent
? NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or similar
? Sound knowledge of relevant British Standards, including BS5839-1
? Basic IT competence for reporting and documentation
? Enhanced DBS clearance
? Full UK driving licence

Support legal work for TEE across the UK and European business regions
Assist with reviewing and negotiating contracts.
Advising internal clients about risks associated with different contracts
Managing files diligently using relevant software
Undertake legal research and horizon scanning
Support compliance and company secretarial work for TEE across the UK and European business regions:
Support internal clients on employment-related matters
Review legal and compliance team policies and documentation
Advise internal clients on policies, procedures, regulatory, and ethical standards
Liaising with third parties to arrange documents for notarisation and apostille
Wider legal and compliance work – as needed:
Deal promptly with internal client enquiries and correspondence
Arrange for the appropriate execution of documents electronically and by wet signature
Work towards relevant apprenticeship exams/legal qualifications as part of the apprenticeship
Occasionally travel to other TEE or TEL Group offices abroad as required
Appropriate Training:
Each person will go through an induction process which will provide them with background

If you have experience of planning and/or delivery of events or major projects and can demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines then read on.We have a number of roles that we’re recruiting for which fall into the following categories –
Event planning only roles – these are home based roles. You will need good stable broadband the ability to flex your diary and ideally, experience of project managing teams of people remotely as well as experience of event planning and management.Event delivery only roles – these roles will require you to have experience of facilitating events, ideally with young people (from primary to secondary age students), be able and willing to travel (mainly locally), have a flexible diary, and have access to a car. NB you will be paid travel expenses and travel time (where journeys take over an hour)Planning and delivery roles – the requirements for this role are a combination of the above two roles.
Responsibilities:Planning of activities (‘Planning Only’ and ‘Planning and Delivery’ Roles):
Work as part of a wider project team on the preparation and planning of activitiesCarry out planning calls with stakeholders, to ensure all delivery and logistical considerations are accounted forRecruitment of diverse volunteers to support activitiesUndertake administrative duties to deliver projects you support

Experience:
