Key Responsibilities
Contractor PayrollManage weekly contractor payroll processes.Process and check contractor timesheets.Generate contractor invoices.Load contractor invoices into Xero.Raise and upload client invoices into Xero.Chase clients for Purchase Orders (POs) where required.Carry out payroll and invoice reconciliations.Assist with quarterly payroll and financial reporting.
Accounts ReceivableManage the Accounts Receivable ledger.Carry out credit control and follow up on overdue invoices.Monitor outstanding balances and ensure clients pay within agreed terms.Assist with cashflow forecasting.
ComplianceCarry out contractor and candidate Right to Work checks.Ensure all candidate compliance documents are completed and stored correctly.Manage contract representative forms and client order forms digitally.Maintain accurate compliance records within internal systems.Ensure processes align with IR35 requirements where applicable.
Systems & AdministrationMaintain accurate records in Bullhorn CRM and internal systems.Support finance and operational processes with accurate data entry and documentation.
Additional SupportAssist with operational or finance projects when needed.Provide administrative support to the Director where required.

Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 0-5
Completing a variety of day-to-day childcare tasks to ensure that children’s needs, welfare and education is catered for. This can include helping children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, taking part in singing, role playing and storytelling and more
Also, being able to liaise with external customers and parents, to provide a high level of service for the childcare setting
Meets the care needs of the individual child, such as feeding, changing nappies and administration of medicine
Training:
Training will take place in the workplace
You will need to attend online training with your assessor for 10 days out of your 13 month apprenticeship, for your classroom-based learning, and you will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor
Training Outcome:Developing into a Level 3 Educator, with the potential of a position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for:
Room Leader positions
Possible management training
Springboard into primary education
Paediatric nursing
Continuous development in the current nursery setting

Administrative tasks within the office
To efficiently undertake basic administration and clerical duties, which may include:
To support the business in general administrative duties, which enable us to manage our clients effectively
To locate orders within the warehouse and prepare for dispatch
To support the team in maintaining accurate, timely stock management database records
To answer/deal with queries, both face-to-face and via the telephone, take messages and pass them onto the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner
To meet and greet visitors as required
Provide support to fellow members of the team

You will study the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
The programme is based on end point assessment
