Your key responsibilities will include:
Operating one of our four weaving machines following trained safe working practices
Monitoring the quality of materials and correcting any faults (e.g., yarn discrepancies, mends, etc.)
Recording production details, including roll dimensions and quality issues, on our ERP system
Preparing yarns, changing creels, and tying in new bobbins for efficient machine changeovers
Operating cop winding machines and ensuring a steady supply of cops
Performing basic maintenance to keep machinery running smoothly
Moving rolls or pallets using a forklift truck (training provided if needed)
Maintaining housekeeping standards and supporting other departments as required
Following all Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment
