Level 3 Apprentice Data Technician

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Support the production of reports and dashboards to monitor service performance. Collect, check and input performance and service data accurately. Learn to use council systems and software to retrieve and analyse information. Assist in maintaining accurate, up-to-date and secure data records. Help document processes and maintain records of data and reporting activities. Work with colleagues across different teams to share information and improve data quality. Support projects and initiatives that contribute to service improvement. Develop an understanding of data protection, information governance and confidentiality requirements. Participate in team meetings and training activities. Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work. Comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Training:

At the end, you will gain a Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship qualification.

The apprenticeship will also include a proportion of 20% off-the-job training and a robust programme of mandatory apprentice training provided by Sandwell Council to include: Fire Awareness, Prevent, Safeguarding, Data Protection & Cyber Security and Equality & Diversity. 



Training Outcome:

The post is offered on a fixed-term contract to cover the duration of the apprenticeship training. You will receive support and guidance to identify and apply for any further apprenticeships or internal jobs that you are suitably experienced and qualified for.
