We are seeking a driven and strategic Commercial Manager to lead and evolve the commercial operations within our fast-growing automotive aftermarket business. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire Commercial Department, including Product Development and Commercial Development.
As Commercial Manager, you will be the key link between departments—ensuring our product strategy is tightly aligned with business goals and market demands. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, Marketing, and Purchasing teams to bring best-in-class products to market while enhancing customer experience and commercial performance.
This role would also be a good fit for an experienced Product Manager wanting to step up into a Commercial Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities of the Production & Process Engineer

Qualifications and Requirements for the Production & Process Engineer
Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline (Degree desirable).
Proficiency with 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks (training provided if necessary).
Proven track record of creating accurate 3D models and engineering drawings for components and assemblies.
Practical engineering knowledge of a range of automotive systems.

Using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D engineering drawings
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Assisting in the design and development of fabricated components and assemblies
Liaising with production and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
Supporting continuous improvement projects within the design process
Training:Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration consisting of:

Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics (if applicable)
Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable)
You will be required to attend a half-day session with HBTC where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that you have to take. Additional off the job training will also be required as part of the Apprenticeship. There will also be an end point assessment. Position Overview
As the Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the company's product portfolio. Responsibilities
- Handle general day-to-day technical enquiries received via various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media
- Source information from BDMs and customers to support the drafting and supply of project specifications

- Deliver RIBA-accredited and non-accredited CPDs to architects and new applicators to enhance their understanding of the company's product portfolio and solutions
- Liaise with associations and other manufacturers to include the company's products and logo in their specifications and websites
- Identify potential architects, specifiers, and contractors involved in construction projects requiring EWI and render

- Work closely with architects and specifiers to ensure that EWI and render are specified in construction projects, providing technical support and solutions
- Monitor industry trends, competitors' activities, and changes in building codes and regulations to identify new opportunities and challenges
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to work with people from a non-trade background
- Ambitious, proactive, and forward-thinking with the drive to continuously improve
- Strong industry-related background and knowledge of competitors, sharing insights with the company to aid sales argumentation
- Comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and a desire to share knowledge and experience gained
