The Role
As Manufacturing Team Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader, you will lead and supervise a team of welders, operators and programmers, coordinating daily production activities and ensuring departmental KPIs are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and motivate the production team, managing daily targets, KPIs, quality and productivity.
Ensure effective shift handovers.
Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and production efficiency.

Carrier Duties
To work from daily carrier list regarding carrier requirements, order pick, palletise and wrap as required.
To assist, when required, in the collation of carrier paperwork.
To assist, when required, with the labelling of products for despatch.
To place correct carrier labels on drums.
To load carriers safely and hand over any paperwork to the admin department.
To inform the depot supervisor of any discrepancies and of any carrier returns.
Vehicle loads manifest sheets and Raw material inspection records.
To assist Production team members in the completion of loads, decanting IBCs etc as required on the load manifest.
To fill in all details required on the load manifest sheet, including IBC weights, pallet weights and any re-packed material.
To hand in completed load manifest sheets to depot supervisor/ops coordinator for checking.
To inspect raw material deliveries, fill in inspection record sheets and hand in to QA lab, along with delivery notes.
Chemical Production Duties
To ensure the chemicals requested by the Depot Supervisor are prepared in a safe manner with regard to himself and others around him.
To assist or blend specialist water treatment chemicals to the required specification from raw material liquids and powder bags. This is done by closely following the recipe within the SOP worksheets
To pack the completed blend into the end pack sizes as requested by the Depot Supervisor
Report any accidents, spillages or breakages to the Depot Supervisor and Health and Safety Officer (where applicable).
To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with chemical production worksheets and they are correctly filled out.
Housekeeping in Warehouse
To assist other production team members in general warehouse housekeeping.
To maintain a safe working environment at all times.
To assist with recycling used materials (cardboard and plastic etc)
Forklift Truck Duties
To drive the company’s Flts counter balance and articulated (Flexi) in accordance with the Company FLT policy.
To aide in the unloading of raw material deliveries and storing in the relevant storage area

Drum Labelling
To label drums in accordance with Feedwater policy.
To use batch and toll labels where required, adhering to labelling policy

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer and the WTI Crew. Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit to the Supervisors as applicable Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss scope of work and daily tasks The customer pre-arrival, at arrival and at completion of the day's work WTI Supervisor on schedule changes, project, and crew updates, etc. Efficient project management will include managing crew start and end times and production rates, ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently, and completing the project per the scope or work or specification. The WTI Foreman will complete an end of day and/or end of project walk through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site. Ensure that all WTI Field Reps will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. Per pricing procedures review each field service project over $5,000 for pricing accuracy. Submit all projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor prior to submitting to the Sales Rep or customer. As our Batch Maker, you're there to produce paint and related products by setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials, such as chemicals, liquids, color pigments, explosive ingredients, or rust-proofing materials.

Here's what you can expect every day:
Stages and charges necessary raw materials into process flow tanks. Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products.
Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up.
Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions.
Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved.
Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order. Determine raw materials needed.
Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program.
May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches
Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor
Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required.
Required Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of production experience
Able to read batch tickets and prepare labels for products; basic math
Able to operate high-speed dispersers and other operating equipment
Ability to lift 50-100 pounds, read digital scales and flow meters
Experienced forklift operator
Salary Target Range: $27.00 p/h - $30.00 p/h. Bonus Eligible
