As a Team Leader Apprentice, you will...

Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the physical receipt, checking, and storage of delivered materials and materials for shipment.
Essential Functions:
Works with CSR / AR Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure proper handling of inbound and out bound freight. Manages storage of raw materials and finished goods, along with container counts. Must be certified forklift operator and follow all regulations and company policies in order to safely load and unload materials to/from trailers and tankers so they may be transported safely and comply with all regulations. Maintaining hazardous waste storage area and hazardous waste inventory in a manner consistent with all federal, state, local and company regulations and policies. Responsible for ensuring all trucks, trailers, and drivers have the proper licenses and certifications to haul any and all materials they deliver or pick up from Arnette Polymers, including hazardous waste. Ensure all containers are clean, labeled properly, and stored in appropriate containers, as to maintain compliance with all regulations and policies; Knowledgeable in DOT and RCRA regulations. Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to workshop Supervisor
Marking, drilling, and fixing equipment to steel mounting plates using drawings
Installing electrical components onto mounting plates.
Installing wiring, numbering crimping, and terminating cables following wiring schematics.
Drilling/punching out steel enclosures and installing labelling and electrical components on doors.
Working alongside other panel wireman, but working from own workbench.
Equipment needed
Hand tools – screwdrivers, cutters, wire strippers and crimping tools (specialist crimping tools will be provided)
PPE – Safety Boots (other PPE will be provided)
Skills Required
Control Panel experience, must be able to read electrical drawings and wire from them.
Experience of assembly of enclosures, and common items – relays contactors terminals, switchgear etc.
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday – 07:00 -16:30 with 1 hour – unpaid lunch break
Fridays – 07:00 – 14:00hrs with 1 hour – unpaid lunch break. First Month – 40hours per week
After first month same hours above – however we will pay the hours lunch break – making total hours 45hours per week.
