Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical repairs across a large healthcare facility.Undertake electrical maintenance and minor project works involving a range of building services and associated equipment.Maintain and repair systems including generators, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, air handling units, water systems and other critical building services.Work safely and in accordance with relevant healthcare engineering standards, company procedures and statutory requirements.Follow appropriate permit-to-work, risk assessment and safe systems of work procedures when undertaking maintenance activities.Prepare and contribute to method statements, risk assessments and other relevant health and safety documentation.Respond promptly to emergency and unplanned maintenance issues, ensuring faults are attended to within agreed service level timescales.Diagnose electrical faults and take appropriate action to restore systems and equipment to safe and operational condition.Work closely with Facilities Team Leaders, colleagues, specialist contractors and client representatives to resolve plant and equipment issues.Support the coordination of external contractors and assist with the procurement of materials and services when required.Person Specification:18th Edition.Successfully completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship.Relevant electrical qualifications and certification.Previous experience working in an electrical maintenance role.Strong understanding of electrical maintenance and building services systems.Good technical knowledge and practical experience relevant to the role.Ability to work safely and recognise potential hazards associated with electrical and building services maintenance.Ability to successfully complete a Disclosure Scotland PVG check.Salary & Benefits:Salary up to £37,000 DOE plus allowances 24 days annual leave (+ public holidays)Life Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salaryEmployee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailersGym membership discountsHoliday purchase scheme2 corporate social responsibility days per yearBroad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmes ....Read more...
