Ensure that cleaning and maintenance equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
Carry out rubbish removal as necessary and ensure bins are kept clean and tidy. And undertake light gardening duties and ensure school buildings, entrance areas and playgrounds are free from rubbish/leaves and there are no broken/ overhanging branches that could pose a safety risk.
Statutory Checks, Tests & Inspections:
To maintain a robust inspection, monitoring and record-keeping system, consistent across the school, relating to compliance with relevant health & safety legislation.
