Your typical working day will involve;
Supporting students with individual needs in their mainstream lessons
Working with a small group of assigned key students, checking in with them during morning registration
Conduct "walk and talks" to better understand key student's emotional needs
Implement the appropriate reasonable adjustment to ensure them to access their learning
As part of the role you will follow school procedures such as; recording interactions, escalating issues, reporting safeguarding concerns etc
Training:As part of your apprenticeship, you will have dedicated off-the-job time to focus on your studies and receive tailored mentoring from experienced practitioners within the school, helping you to develop as a professional.
