Build Something Customers Can See, Touch, and Believe In
At Key Resin, we manufacture high-performance epoxy, urethane, and terrazzo flooring systems used across a wide range of industries. Before a customer invests in a flooring project, they often want to see and feel what the finished floor will look like. That's where you come in.
We are looking for a Epoxy Sample Technician to create physical flooring samples that accurately represent our products. You'll take raw materials, mix, and apply them to build professional sample boards that help customers visualize their finished floor. This is a hands-on role that combines craftsmanship, artistry, manufacturing, and attention to detail.

Some days are repetitive.
There are deadlines and customer expectations that create pressure.
You'll often manage multiple projects at once.
The work can be physically/mentally demanding.
Attention to detail is required all day, every day.
Mistakes can result in wasted materials and delays.
If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality work, and appreciate seeing a finished product come to life, this could be a great fit for you.
What You'll Do
Create epoxy, urethane, and terrazzo flooring samples from raw materials.
Mix, pour, spread, grind, sand, polish, and finish sample boards.
Interpret sample requests and specifications from customers and sales teams.
Maintain consistent color, texture, and finish quality.
Operate hand tools and shop equipment safely.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Keep detailed records of formulas, materials, colors, and production notes.
Assist with new sample development and special customer requests.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
Has exceptional attention to detail.
Enjoys hands-on work.
Is artistic or creative and has a good eye for color and appearance.
Works well independently with minimal supervision.
Is a self-starter who takes ownership of their work.
Can stay organized while handling multiple tasks.
Performs well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Is willing to learn specialized flooring and coating systems.
Keeps accurate records and notes.
Takes pride in producing quality finished products.
Preferred Experience
Experience using hand tools such as sanders, saws, grinders, polishers and measuring tools
Manufacturing, construction, or fabrication experience.
Former concrete, masonry, flooring, or brickwork experience is a plus.
Experience mixing materials, coatings, adhesives, or similar products is beneficial.
Experience in woodworking, arts and crafts, model building, painting, or fabrication is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive hand movements.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work with flooring materials, coatings, and shop equipment.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform detailed work for extended periods.
Why Join Key Resin?
Stable and growing company
Competitive pay based on experience.
Health, dental, and vision benefits.
Company paid life, ADD, and disability benefits
401(k) with company match and pension
Generous paid time off
Opportunity to develop specialized skills.
Be part of a company known for industry-leading flooring solutions.
