This role is to report to the O&M Manager.Field Service Engineer (BESS) - Tasks & Typical duties/responsibilities:• Maintain Energy Storage Systems to a high standard by carrying out regular inspection and maintenance, annual capacity tests, trouble shooting and reactive maintenance works • Perform system software and firmware upgrades• Monitor operation performance monitoring and data assessment• Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers• Troubleshoot equipment located at BESS sites• Manage spare parts• Responsible for safety work complying with local safety regulations and safety standards • Conduct risk assessment and implement safety measures• Keep up to date with any administrative duties such as timesheets, daily vehicle checks and providing daily job logs describing issues and actions taken during service trips• Assist the in-house system engineering group in product development and/or project work• Provide suggestions based on field experience, to improve the products Field Service Engineer (BESS) - Essential Requirements:• Qualification in an electrical/ electro-mechanical discipline• Previous electrical or multi skilled maintenance experience• Basic IT skills (Word Processing, Outlook, Excel, IP and software for troubleshooting)• Qualification of working on Site safely• This role involves travelling to different sites with occasional overnight stays. The Finance & Accounting Apprentice will be a key part of our finance team, learning essential accounting and business skills while gaining hands-on experience.
We will support you through an apprenticeship programme leading to a professional qualification (AAT), as the first step on your career path to becoming a fully qualified chartered accountant (CIMA or ACCA). You’ll develop the skills and knowledge to succeed in accounting while contributing to the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As an apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced team on various tasks, including:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Processing invoices and managing expense claims.
Ensuring timely and accurate payments and record-keeping.
Financial Analysis:
Assisting with financial modelling and performance analysis.
Contributing to reports for clients and investors on solar farm performance.
Financial Data Management:
Entering and reconciling transactions using accounting software e.g. Xero.
Ensuring data accuracy and maintaining high-quality financial records.
Group Accounting Support:
Supporting with VAT returns and payroll processing.
Assisting with month-end and year-end financial tasks.
Administrative and Other Duties:
Maintaining organised and accurate digital records.
Helping the team with ad hoc projects and reports.

Training:
As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the full AAT Level 3 qualification
The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace
Training Outcome:
Analysts will be put on a development pathway to grow with the business
Following completion of AAT and subject to on the job and AAT performance, an opportunity will arise to study for CIMA
You will be eligible for both regular pay reviews and annual bonuses to be provided based on merit

You will provide a service to the cost and commercial management function, undertaking low complexity tasks to support senior colleagues
Assisting the team with providing financial projections and cost control of projects
Manage your own workload under a high degree supervision and resolve routine/simple problems
Follow clearly established financial procedures relating to cost and commercial management processes, such as the recording of expenses incurred and material ordering, to complete necessary tasks and ensure standards of accuracy are maintained
Carry out tasks, such as the preparation of reports under the directions of more senior colleagues, or the research and collation of information to support sound cost and commercial management of projects
