The main part of this role is mounting and wiring electrical components, RTD's vibration sensors, Glanding cables Hawke and CMP etc, fitting cable tray and junction boxes and terminating cables.
Other duties include:
Instrument recording and testing procedures.
Gaining knowledge of cable tray layout and installation.
Gaining experience of various cable glanding eg Hawke, CMP glands.
Looming of electrical junction boxes in accordance with company SOP.
Compex, Atex and 18th edition qualifications.
Experience of wiring in accordance with project wiring diagrams.
Ability to record instrument and LV test procedures.
Cutting, preparation and installation of cable tray.
Cable and instrument identification in accordance project P&ID.
Use of various hand tools e.g. Grinders, spanners, cable preparation equipment.
