Morning setup - getting the workshop ready, checking tools / equipment and looking at the day's jobs
Vehicle servicing - helping with oil and filter changes, air filters, spark plugs, fluid checks, and basic inspections
Brakes and tyres - removing / refitting wheels, checking brake components, changing tyres and checking pressures
Basic mechanical repairs - replacing things like bulbs, batteries, wiper blades, belts, hoses or other straightforward components.
Diagnostics - learning to use diagnostic equipment, reading fault codes and helping the mechanic investigate problems
