The Parts Department is at the heart of our operations. Our Parts Advisors are responsible for the stock control of a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories. This includes the ordering, selling and managing of stock to ensure that we meet the needs of our trade counter customers and to guarantee that our workshop team have the parts and accessories that they need to complete their daily tasks.
Your duties will vary from day to day and could include:
Providing advice to customers who are having problems with their vehicles
Taking sales orders from customers both face to face and over the phone
Stock control for vehicle parts and accessories
Maintaining an ordered stockroom
Raising invoices for parts sold
Liaison with internal teams to ensure the correct stock is in place at the right time
Our ideal candidate will be methodical in their way of working and be able to demonstrate precise attention to detail.
As a central point of contact for both of our internal and external customers, you will need to have excellent communication skills. You also should be IT literate (although full training will be provided).

During your working day, the dental practice will support you with learning the practical skills required, whilst your training provider (Aspiration Training) will teach you the theory side. Training:Apprentices will undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard programme. This will include a full-time period of practical workshop based ‘off-the-job’ training at SETA’s Apprenticeship Centre in Southampton.
You will also begin a knowledge qualification (depending on your prior attainments) where you will be required to attend SETA one day a week over two academic years.
After your initial training at SETA, you will be with your employer working on developing your skills; ultimately leading to your End Point Assessment.
SETA will make regular visits during this period of time to ensure you will covering all the required aspects of the Standard, which includes a practical element, a theory test and a professional discussion, regarding the work achieved with your employer.
These final tests are administered by an independent assessment organisation and take place in the last three months of the apprenticeship.Training Outcome:Once the apprenticeship has been completed there are plenty of opportunities for further training and personal development.

We are currently recruiting for apprentice fabricator/welders to join the company.
The successful candidates will be organised, diligent and able to confidently work under pressure.
Exceptional communication skills are vital.
An interest in working with metal is essential; welding, cutting, and reshaping will be required as part of the part of the apprenticeship.
