The role after training will include;
Process and issue accurate sales ledger invoices to customers
Accurately processing purchase ledger invoices for multiple suppliers
Handling inbound calls
Manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications
Completing monthly reconciliations
Assisting with the completion of tax returns

Working within our purpose-built 32,000 sq. ft. engineering workshop, you will gain hands-on experience repairing and maintaining a wide range of pumps and rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, compressors, agitators, mixers, valves, centrifuges and screw conveyors.
Supported by an experienced mentor and qualified engineers, you will learn all aspects of the repair process, including:
Stripping, dismantling and preparing pumps and equipment for inspection and repair
Assisting with the fitting, assembly and refurbishment of pumps, valves and rotating equipment
Learning inspection techniques to identify faults and recommend repair solutions
Supporting equipment testing and performance verification prior to dispatch

Performing air and water balancing and HVAC systems validations to CIBSE Codes and BSRIA Guidelines, always with a positive outlook and can-do attitude, proactive troubleshooting

Report safeguarding concerns about any adult working/volunteering in the setting to the Supervisor following the setting’s procedure regarding whistleblowing
Help prepare and fully set out the playroom before children arrive and tidy up after the children leave
Help provide and take part in all the Preschool activities
Attend staff meetings and help prepare the long, medium and short term plans for the group, based on the Early Years Foundation Stage
Take part in special events, outings and visits if required
Encourage parental involvement
Listen to, encourage, enable, stimulate and ensure the safe keeping of the children
Attend relevant evening meetings and courses in agreement with the Preschool Supervisor or committee. Course fees will be met by the committee for approved training
Advise the Pre-school Supervisor of any matter requiring attention such as concerns about a child, or equipment needing repair or replacement
Keep completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff, which is learned as part of the job
Take part in the key-person system, keeping records on the children’s progress and liaising with parents

Training:Training takes place at City College Norwich, Ipswich Road, Norwich.
The release pattern for this course is once a fortnight, with some sessions during holidays (except Christmas and August).
Additional sessions (including examinations) may be run in holiday periods if they are needed and by prior agreement with the apprentice.Training Outcome:This course should support a learner’s workplace development which may include:
Continuation, development or promotion at work or within this sector, such as Nursery Supervisor, Nursery Manager, Pre-school Manager/ Co-ordinator or Family Worker
The skills to further develop a specialism, such as Key Worker, Manager or Forest School Co-ordinator
A learner may choose further study at a higher level, such as a Foundation Degree in Early Years and top up to a BA in Childhood Studies, or the Level 6 Teaching apprenticeship standard

The Role:
We are looking for a skilled MET Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves dismantling, repairing, and rebuilding vehicles to the highest standard, while supporting a smooth and efficient workflow across the bodyshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out the removal and refitting of vehicle components to support high-quality body repairs
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles efficiently, following repair methods and manufacturer guidelines
- Accurately identify and report any additional damage not included within the original estimate
- Perform mechanical repairs including suspension work, four-wheel alignment, and diagnostic procedures
- Complete GEO and ADAS-related tasks where required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed on time and to a high standard
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the repair process
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Vehicle Technician within an accident repair environment
- ATA or NVQ qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
- Hybrid and Electric Vehicle training would be beneficial
- ADAS experience or accreditation would be highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering first-class repairs
- Strong team player with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced workshop environment
