What you’ll do at work:
Learn about child development and use this knowledge in the assessments and observations of children.
Learn about and understand the Early Years Foundation Stage and plan appropriate activities for children in the setting.
Be responsible for recording observations and assessments for a small group of keyperson children.
Under the supervision and guidance of the preschool manager develop good relationships with parents and other professionals involved with the children.
Assist with the weekly planning of children’s activities following themes and ‘in the moment’ planning.
Set up the preschool each morning with suitable toys and equipment.
Tidy up and assist with the cleaning of toys at the end of the day
Attend half-termly staff meetings to discuss any themes, safeguarding and health and safety issues.

The responsibilities will be separated into the following areas:
Support legal work for TEE across the UK and European business regions.
Assist with reviewing and negotiating contracts.
Advising internal clients about risks associated with different contracts.
Managing files diligently using relevant software.
Undertake legal research and horizon scanning.
Support compliance and company secretarial work for TEE across the UK and European business regions.
Support internal clients on employment-related matters.
Review legal and compliance team policies and documentation.
Advise internal clients on policies, procedures, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Liaising with third parties to arrange documents for notarisation and apostille.
Wider legal and compliance work – as needed.
Deal promptly with internal client enquiries and correspondence.
Arrange for the appropriate execution of documents electronically and by wet signature.
Work towards relevant apprenticeship exams/legal qualifications as part of the apprenticeship.
Occasionally travel to other TEE or TEL Group offices abroad as required.

Apprentices beginning their Hair Professional Apprenticeship may be expected to carry out a variety of tasks, including:
Shampooing clients and applying hair treatments
Blow drying and basic styling
Assisting senior stylists and other team members
Providing front-of-house support, such as greeting clients and managing bookings
Performing general salon duties to maintain cleanliness and organisation
Training:VTCT will award your Hair Professional qualification, which is a nationally recognised Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain essential skills and experience to begin your career in the hair industry.

Act as first point of contact at Beeson House, greeting visitors and handling phone and email enquiries
Support day to day office administration, including filing, scanning and managing electronic records
Help prepare, format and collate agendas, reports and papers for council and committee meetings

Training:
Off the job training will be delivered by City Skills Limited (UKPRN: 10065422) via a weekly day release model. The apprentice will normally attend training one day per week online, depending on the provider’s timetable
On the job training will take place at Southwater Parish Council’s offices at Beeson House, Southwater. The apprentice will be supported by their line manager and colleagues, with regular one to one meetings, mentoring and job shadowing. Training will be planned to ensure the apprentice receives at least 20 percent off the job training time across the programme
Training Outcome:
This is a fixed term apprenticeship position for the duration of the apprenticeship
The Council’s working assumption is that, subject to satisfactory performance, funding and business need, the role will convert to a permanent Business Support Officer position on completion of the apprenticeship
Any such confirmation would be made nearer the end of the apprenticeship and cannot be absolutely guaranteed
From there CILCA qualification could be studied and completed presenting opportunities to more senior roles
