Youll be producing a range of cable harnesses, looms, and test equipment from drawings, kits, and wiring schedules including work on cabinets and fixtures. The work is varied, hands-on, and suited to someone confident in fine detail wiring and high-reliability assembly.
What youll be doing:
- Building and wiring cable looms, harnesses, and assemblies from drawings or schematics
- Crimping, soldering, lacing, and splicing to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 and aerospace/defence standards
- Working with MIL-spec connectors and multi-core cables
- Supporting the build and wiring of cabinets, fixtures, and test equipment
- Ensuring all work meets ESD and quality control requirements
- Occasionally supporting wiring or repair tasks at customer sites

- Proven experience as a Wiring Technician, Wireperson, or similar
- Skilled in hand crimping, soldering, and cable preparation to high standards
- Confident reading detailed wiring diagrams and assembly drawings
