The below job description will outline this position of: Brokerage support to the team bringing knowledge and organisation.
Typically, this person will work with the brokers and the Brokerage accounts to restructure/price the yacht.

Duties and responsibilities of the Guardianage Support:
•Work with the brokers and Oyster Yachts Brokerage accounts to restructure/price the Yacht Storage and Care Programmes (YSCP).
• Structure and return a profitable Guardianage service for the Oyster Yachts Brokerage fleet.
• Single point of contact for brokerage YSCP for Oyster Yachts Brokerage.
• Manage the maintenance of the Oyster Yachts Brokerage Ipswich fleet as per the YSCP.
• Support the Brokerage Team with test sails and sea trials and assist in any handover as required, including deliveries.
• Work alongside the Commissioning Team and split your time according to workload, always liaising with the commissioning manager.
• Established and practical knowledge of yacht maintenance and the process of winterising blue water sailing yachts.
• A good working knowledge of the commissioning process.
Qualifications and requirement for the Brokerage Support):
• Planning and organising.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office, Teams, Word and Excel.
Experience
• Experience of working for a luxury marine yacht business.
• Sailing experience to a degree and willing to work towards a Yacht Master

Role Overview:
The Audio Visual Warehouse Technician will collaborate closely with the Warehouse Senior Team to ensure the efficient operation of all warehouse dispatch activities. This role involves the preparation, maintenance, and organisation of sound, lighting, AV, projection, and staging equipment to meet the technical needs of the operational schedule. The Technician will also contribute to the development of warehouse facilities and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities• Support the Warehouse Senior Team with routine activities to maintain smooth operations.• Troubleshoot technical issues during equipment preparation, escalating to the Prep Supervisor or Project Manager as needed.• Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring the process aligns with the operational schedule.• Conduct routine PAT testing and rigging inspections to maintain equipment safety and reliability.• Ensure all equipment, including audio mixers, lighting control desks, and AV systems, is prepped to the required standard for dispatch.• Maintain high standards of organisation and cleanliness within the warehouse environment.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Senior Team.
Skills and Experience• Practical experience operating audio mixers, lighting control desks, and AV equipment from brands such as Allen & Heath, d&b, Avolites, Chauvet, ROBE, and Panasonic projectors.• Knowledge of medium-sized d&b PA systems, video distribution, and lighting systems.• Awareness of firmware updates and the ability to install them on relevant equipment.• Familiarity with at least two disciplines within Sound, Lighting, and Data Projection.• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges proactively.• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.• Effective team player with excellent time management skills to handle shifting priorities.• Understanding of Health & Safety requirements is advantageous.

About You:
Someone that has experience working with Tier 1 main contractors.
Good communicator. Pro-active.
Well organised.
Experienced in Drylining/Ceilings.
Strong understanding of design processes.
Familiar with document portals.
Software Experience: AutoCAD, Revit (preferable not essential) & Microsoft Office.
Criteria:
Review of all design information to understand the project requirements (K10, K40, Fire Strategy, Acoustic Strategy, Detailing etc)
Review of all contract documents to understand design responsibilities and scope for the project
Liaise with Architect, Main-contractor, Building Control and project consultants in design meetings and workshops.
Issue, Track and Record project RFI’s via design deliverables/document portal
Co-ordinate design with other trades such as MEP, Joinery, Facades etc
Work closely with manufacturers to ensure design compliance with their systems, develop specifications, produce technical detailing and site reviews where required
Set up a design deliverables and work with PM’s to produce design programme
Produce technical submittals and co-ordinated CAD drawings
Where required work with BIM consultants to deliver BIM packages and attend BIM workshops.
Ensure design complies with all current building regulations
Attend Monthy bi-weekly design meetings to give overview of project, discuss technical issues and share experiences with the team
