CBW Staffing Solutions are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established, industry-leading fire protection contractor, who are actively seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to join their team based in Bexley.

With over 25 years of experience, our client is a trusted name in the design, manufacture, and installation of fire doors and passive fire safety solutions, delivering projects across both public and private sectors.

The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Construction professional to join a reputable business during a period of sustained growth. You will oversee the full pre-construction process, from tendering and bid submission through to project handover, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the pre-construction phase across multiple projects

Coordinate design, technical reviews, and value engineering exercises

Work cross-functionally with the design, manufacturing, and installation teams

Manage tender returns, presentations, and client negotiations

Ensure smooth handover to the delivery team

Develop and nurture client relationships to secure repeat business

Requirements: ✅ Demonstrable experience in pre-construction/estimating, ideally within fire safety or construction
✅ Strong technical understanding of fire doors and passive fire protection (desirable)
✅ Ability to manage multiple tenders and deliver under tight deadlines
✅ Excellent communication, organisational, and commercial skills
✅ Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
